More beautiful photos of my girl.

Just going back to our time in SA at Jen and Rods place near Mt Barker. Young Molly took these photos of Amy with her horses. So pretty. Cant believe this girl is about to be 6 soon...
Tim FINALLY catches a keeper which will make a delicious dinner. This is off the prawning jetty at Carnavon.

This is Shelley. Shelley is our caravan neighbour and she kindly gave me some time out one day and did beading with the kids. They had a great time and are wearing some of the things they made. Shelley and Greg also made us a pork roast dinner too! Wow it was delicious!

Jake with his new "mate" Alan. Al worked with Tim for awhile and invited us out to his place. Donna and Alan had a remote control helicopter which they attached sparklers to. It was lots of fun at Al and Donnas place!

Amy holds the Thorny Devil. Amy had a bad sting in the beach today. Must have been a jelly fish that stung her on the bottom. Tim had to rinse it with fresh water and the red welt went away. Just lucky as there are plenty of things that can do you harm in these waters!
Jacob gets to hold this "stunned" thorny devil.
Eddies' son Esiah finds a quite stunned Thorny Devil on the road. Jake loves Thorny Devils and was hoping that he would be able to see one. Unfortunately this devil doesn't make it, but it was so interesting to feel his thorns.

Here Tim is throwing bread into the wild waters of Quobba to feed the fish - we catch a glimpse of the fish but the water is so turbulent its difficult to see.

This is 9month old MillyAnna. She and her twin sister belong to Eddie and Courtney - Eddie and Tim have been working together.
Today we went back out to Quobba for another visit. Was too windy to do much but it was fun spending time with new friends. Especially cute ones like Kevi and MillyAnna!

I am here with the other twin - Kevi! So very cute.

Lauren catches a bream too. Very happy with their efforts as I had put a lot of pressure on them all to catch me something for dinner! Well done fisherpeople!
Not a great photo but evidence of what Jacob caught and what I just ate! This bream was very delicious! He caught 9 other fish but all too small to eat.

Tims first Big catch here at Carnarvon - a sting ray! Caught in the eye too - poor thing! Tim releases the sting ray with the help of the boogie board.

Lunch on the beach with the Drifta in action.

Race Day at Carnarvon. A big event here in a small town. I think we broke even?
Desperate attempts to catch a fish to eat! Fishing off the prawing jetty - you need to wade out (in your undies) to get to the old jetty.
They caught 11 fish - so they tell me - but none big enough to eat!
Fresh Carnarvon prawns off the jetty whilst trying to catch fish. We were attracting more seagulls than fish though with our prawn heads!

Amy catches a (very small) fish around the boat harbour at Carnarvon. He lives to see another day!

Mothers Day

My lovelies made me some beautiful cards for Mothers Day this year. Lauren helped Amy make her card and some delicious coconut ice too. Jake made his card with a lift-the-flaps feature and a chicken beak in the middle! Not sure of the significance of the chicken but he worked very hard on it. Tim cooked us lunch as there were not many places open to go out for lunch today.

more of the same coast at Quobba.

The amazing coast line of the blowholes at Pt Quobba.
The Blowholes at Point Quobba are amazing - and rough. The ocean here can deliver a KING WAVE - a massive wave that can come out of the blue. Twelve lives have been lost here when tourists go down to have a look in and around the blowhole itself! Madness!!!
Point Quobba is a 45 min drive north from Carnarvon.
Sunset at Carnarvon - whilst eating hamburgers and chips!

Amy with some school work she made - a car with its driver out of recycled boxes.

To the ones we love and miss back home! Happy Mothers Day Mum.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MAMA AND GRANDMA

"All aboard the Jetty Express"!
Its a bad sign when the trees grow sideways - means its REALLY here in Carnarvon.

This well is one of only 2 in Australia where the water is pumped out of it on a chain. The other one is in Ipswick QLD. Eileen, our guide, was very proud of her water pump!
I look through the light house at Carnarvon and am very glad I don't have to heat my iron on the stove or do my washing by hand! (Oh wait - hang on - I do wash it by hand - well sometimes!)

We take a tour of the House at the Lighthouse Museum. We look at all the old fashioned household items.

Carnarvon WA

Carnarvon has a 1.6ks and there is a little train you can take out - which we end up doing. It was extremely windy and the jetty is pretty ancient.
We weren't actually planning to do the train ride, but by doing it we met Kara - who works at the Kiosk at the Jetty - whose husband is a builder in town, and by Monday morning Tim had a couple of weeks work.

The Pelican Feed at Kalbarri was a big fizzer! The first day 5 pelicans turned up, but the volunteer didn't show up to feed them. The next day the volunteer showed, but the Pelicans didn't bother!
Now if you have been to a Pelican feed at the Entrance.....now THATS a Pelican Feeding like no other!

Rainbow Jungle at Kalbarri

Lauren, Amy and Tim visit the Rainbow Jungle venue. An avery full of mostly Australian parrots and cockatoos, with some exotic birds as well.

Over looking the coast line of Kalbarri. I went to take one of the family WITH the railing to annoy Tim as he hates photos taken with it in the background. However a kind lady offered to take a family photo for us. Well how could I refuse!

Tim and I overlooking the Murchison River at Z Bend in Kalbarri National Park. Lauren is becoming a very good photographer!

Looking through Natures Window at Kalbarri National Park.

My Lovelies at sunset - Kalbarri
The rock walls around Kalbarri are an amazing red colour which changes at sunset.

Jacob at Jakes Point!

Kalbarri WA - You'll Love It!

Tim at "Jakes Point" over looking the beautiful Kalbarri.
Miss Amy strutting her stuff at the Pinnacles. This girl doesn't stop. She is constantly playing on playgrounds, or moving about. Go Girl!
