June fitting Amys dress. Amy loves her new dress.

Lauren learning how to sew at June's place - Exmouth. Here she is making Amys dress. Lauren seems to pick up sewing more naturally than her mother.

This is the Mildura Wreck, right at the tip of Exmouth. This is where I was talking to my sister Wendy on the mobile phone and then dropped it in the water below. Phone is cactus. I am in trouble! Lucky for the old phone Tim bought with us!

The Tunstalls. Shaun, Cheryl, Jaymon, Eli and Amy. This family has been our caravan "neighbours" for a few weeks in Exmouth. They have taught us a lot and we will miss them.
The Edwards Family. Lachlan, Bec, Tim and Emily. Lachlan is the Anglican Minister here at Exmouth, and they were very welcoming to us. Exmouth church is very friendly and caring.

Cheryl and Lauren snorkel for these amazing shells. Now the hard work to clean them up to make them look shiney.

Tim and Lauren saw this amazing fish....Wow

What you can see snorkeling this Ningaloo Reef. These photos were taken by someone we know with the underwater camera.

Another trip out to the reef - another cray for dinner. Here is Tim with the painted cray they wore out to try to catch. Later that evening.......Lobster Mornay! MMMMM

Here Tim, Shaun and Ian show off the rest of the catch. The Indian Ocean has plenty to offer!

More fish to eat! Yummo. Tim goes fishing with Ian and Shaun.
The Ultimate "CATCH OF THE DAY" - crayfish! 2 Massive hand caught crays. MMMM They were good too. Here Shuan and Tim proudly hold the entree and man course! Lauren and Jamon also joined in the hunt out in the ocean.
This is Oyster Stacks. Where we are having a fry up of sausages for lunch. This is THE place for snorkeling and we saw heaps of different varieties of fish. I had an awesome time snorkeling with Lauren and Tim, even Amy joined in.
Torquoise Bay. If you look closely you can see people snorkeling in the water. Look just like any beach but underneath is a reef full of tropical fish. Wonderful way to snorkel - and I finally learn how to! Yeah.

Yes folks - things have gone from bad to worse for ol'Tim. He now lives in the mountains like Big Foot!
(Not really but this hair and beard thing is getting out of control!)
This is taken overlooking Charles Knife Canyon. It looks like the Grand Canyon and some parts look like the 3 Sisters in the Blue Mountains. Fasinating country side. The blue at the top of the rock formation is the ocean, so the views here are spectacular.

This photo is taken at Shothole Canyon, as we explored this interesting boulders and cliff faces, about 25ks from Exmouth town.
My "birds eye" view of Yardi Creek. An amazing gorge.

Tim and the kids paddle up Yardi Creek in the Kyacks we loaned, while I walked along the track and got the birds eye view.

Yardi Creek is the only creek in the Cape Range National Park. It flows into the Ningaloo Reef.
Amy and Amy together on the beach while the boys do some fishing.

Its a very tough life - fishing, fishing and more fishing!

This is at the opening celebrations of the new Anglican Church in Exmouth.
When we arrived here Tim did some volunteer work in helping the finishing stages of the job.
We are now doing a couple of weeks work for the head builder of the project - Phil Hall (there in the red top behind Tim).

Where's Jake?? This was the best group photo I had. No one will notice how my daughter is nearly the same height as me - will they??
Happy Birthday Amy!

We had Amys party in the house we are staying at in Exmouth. The Bishop of the Pilbra Region was in attendance - David was excellent at musical statues! As well as Cheryl, Tim, Emily and Amy T. Here we are playing the standard pass the parcel. It was a lovely afternoon celebrating her birthday.

Here is Amy on her 6th Birthday! She has her number 6 candle and her new fluffy toy squirt the turtle. I made her a cupcake caterpillar for her little party.

Art lesson in progress. Amy and Jake are here with June getting some instructions.

The artist at work! Well almost she hasn't started yet, but she looks professional!
Here in Exmouth we have met some wonderful people. The kids are having an art lesson with June at her house out in the backyard. We are learning about primary colours and warm and cool paint colours. Today we are using cool colours on our colour wheel - COOL!

Hi Miranda
Here is a picture of my teeth. I have only lost 2. I miss you very much!
Love Amy

Unfortunately this is the best photo I got of the actual whale shark! So hard to capture on film. So we have ordered the DVD that was made on the day and we will send it to our loved ones once we look at it!

The day was hot and sunny - poor Jake was blinded by the sun - but this was the best one of the lot of us taken on the day.
A happy end to a very amazing day!

Here is our lovely boat for the day out. We enjoyed luscious morning tea, lunch smorgasboard and fruit and champaine to finish the day. The ONLY thing was they didn't serve coffee! I NEED MY COFFEE........

This excited boy kept up with the best of them today = snorkeling and swimming along with whale sharks.
His question to you is: Is a whale shark a whale or a shark?
Answer: Neither - its the biggest fish in the sea!

One very happy girl! Who swam with 7 whale sharks today. There were 20 people on board and they would swim in 2 groups. They had to stay 2-3 metres away from the whale shark whilst swimming to keep up with it - or cruise around with it - depending on the mood of the whale shark.
Yep I'm ready to go!

The crew of the Ningaloo Blue take everyone out snorkeling first before the whale shark swim - just to see how confident everyone is beforehand.

Exmouth WA

Here we are at 8am at Ningaloo Reef on the beach ready for our big Whale Shark Swim. We take a dingy from the shore to board the boat which we will find whale sharks to swim with! We are REALLY EXCITED!!!!

We all really enjoyed feeding the snapper. They are massive and swim in around your legs. A very weird feeling. Particularily freaky when you have thrown the fish food on your legs by mistake and the snapper come up and suck it off them!

Here we are at the Snapper feeding at Coral Bay.Which is on every day at 3:30.

Coral Bay WA

After a month at Carnarvon we head to pretty Coral Bay. Lovely warm temperatures and some great swimming/snorkeling.
