Fishing (and catching them too!) in Kakadu. The Ranger Uranium Mine which is making headlines at the moment due to the wet wet making the dam fill and potentially spilling contaminated waste into local community waters!

This area is called Nourlangie Rock. There are several wonderful pieces of rock art to look at here. We did a bit of walking around the rock and to the lookout towards Nourlangie. Just wonderful to be here in Kakadu!

This walk was 3kms in to some beautiful waterholes called Gubara (I will never be able to remember or pronounce all these names!). The kids and Tim rode their bikes in and I walked. The walk in was lovely, but it absolutely poured down as we went to come out - and we got soaked to the skin. Something we will never forget thats for sure! And check out the size of the spiders up here. Ginormous!
