Uluru! We made it!

Here we are at Uluru. First thing is the climb! Really steep too...Here I am with Tim having decided that the climb is NOT for me he gives me a hug and off he goes with the kids. I slide back down on my bum and join a free tour group and learn all about the Aboriginal culture and customs here at Uluru.

More of Kings Canyon. Amazing.

Beautiful amazing Kings Canyon. Reminded us a bit of the Bungle Bungles in WA.

Driving to Uluru we stop at a roadhouse called Stuarts Well. We meet a man called Jim Cotterill, who in turn introduces us to Dinky the Dingo who "sings" and plays the piano. This is hilarious, as Jake can't bring himself to play - too stunned by this amazing and very famous Dingo! (Jim - his owner - is also very well known about these parts as having established the tourist industry at Kings Canyon and Uluru before the indiginous owners were handed back their land)
Ormiston Gorge in the West MacDonell Ranges - just beautiful!

Over looking Alice Springs surrounded by the MacDonald Ranges.
Also here with Phil and Cathy Stuart who we are staying with in Alice, on our day trip out to Ormiston Gorge.
