We take a look around Gantheume Point. You can find dinosaur footprints at low tide. Interesting rock formations to climb around here.
We spot the camels on the beach at sunset. A pretty interesting sight. There were about 3 different camel teams you can choose to ride with. We dont have a ride but its fun to watch!
Watching the sunsetting over Cable Beach. Along with the thousands of other tourists who come to do the same thing!
Lauren and I do a card making session at Staceys house. She runs them every Thursday in the 'dry season' over those 4 months. The same group of ladies have been coming here for 6 years.
The famous cable Beach. If you drive onto the beach you discover the nudist beach just up from here. The kids are still having flashbacks in horror. Mostly elderly folk who feel the need to be "free". We especially liked the old man who was bending over to fix something on his ute! EWWW.
A Pearling Ship - at a place called Pearl Luggers. Takes you through the interesting history of pearling in this area and also sells lots of different types of pearls.
We arrived in Broome 2 weeks ago. This is me at Town Beach. Broome has been a busy, bustling place - peak season. We are staying 20ks out at 12 Mile with Tim and Stacey. Its a nice peaceful place to return to when we visit Broome.
