Hello from the travelling Parkers! We have been going a week and a half and we are not sick of it or each other just yet.
We started our trip in Griffith. A very interesting multi-cultural place. With lots and lots of orange trees, grapevines and Italians (well it has a strong Italian heritage here).
We stayed at the Tourist Caravan Park, with a fantastic little pool. Our top tip for Griffith is to head out to Darlington Point (25mins south), and swim in the Murrumbidgee River. Nice clean sandy "beaches", its a great way to cool off.
Australia Day was fun with a Battle of the Bands in the Memorial Park, free Anzac bickies, tatoos and Aussie Flags. We had some traditional pizza from the Pizziaria. Belissimo!!!
