We have a look at the Crossing Inn before we leave Fitzroy - hoping to have coffee here. Well we could have coffee from the coffee machine for $7 + cake (but I didn't spy any cake - just cream biscuits on a plate in the fridge??). Instead we made our own instant coffee and sat in the park across, making sure we didn't "consume alcohol, didn't humbug and didn't gamble" - as according to the sign post in the park!!
