We finish up with Dubbo School of Distance Education on Friday 9th December with the Presentation Ceremony and morning tea following. Amy is with Ms Leanne White - who took over from Mrs Cosgrove who had a baby girl Reece. Jacob is with Mrs Hamilton. We celebrated with the Smith's who are also home now too! Well done everyone on all your awards!

Sydney 2011 December

Out on the town in Sydney with besties Kath and Kathy- shopping, eating and seeing all the beautiful Christmas lights!! Didn't embarras myself at any point on the trip - except for the "trip" in my slippery shoes!!

Visiting the kids teachers in Dubbo School of Distance Education. Jake is with Mrs Amanda Hamilton, Amy is with Hayley Cosgrove and Lauren is holding court with a few of her 9 teachers.

Then we arrived home and Amy gets to play with her wonderful friends Claudia and Miranda!

Tenterfield NSW

Just outside of Tenterfield is Bald Rock National Park. We go for a bush walk here, and the rocks and boulders are amazing. Jake finds a big brown snake - yikes. Thankfully he was not too cranky and slid off into the bushes. The view was amazing - and the Queensland border dips down here so you can see it from the top - weird to be only about 10kms away from Queensland again.

Cape Byron and the eastern most point of Australias mainland. We saw dolphins, whales and a goat!! Bit grey and windy but still fun. We also saw this great shop you might love Mama!

Lismore NSW

Yes we are back in our home state and catch up with Bill and Jenni Dann and Freya and Julian. We go to a Mother Daughter dinner and then we have breakfast at Shelleys on the Beach at Ballina.

Seaworld Gold Coast QLD

My favourite theme park was Seaworld. The dolphins and the Polar Bears were amazing, as were the Jet ski stunt shows and all the animals!! The kids loved the roller coaster and I lost count as to how many times they rode it!! Amy loved touching the rays and they seemed to love it too! A wonderful time here at the Gold Coast.
