Some general photos of Newry station. Amy with the poddy calves at sunset. Amy with Brittany and Danielle and the @#%%^ puppy who chews our shoes!!
Lauren and I ride around Newry to take some photos.
Tim at work, in front of the Boab tree!

Part of Tim's work here at Newry is to pour a new concrete floor in a storage shed. The crew give him a hand to prepare for the pour. Many a cane toad was buried under the floor!!!
I am standing in front of the "killing" they did the day before.
Jake is standing with Thomas (7) who is the Managers son.

Amy looses a tooth in the night without even realising it!!

Here we are at "Brickies" a lovely waterhole on the Newry property. We heard there is a freshie in here but we didn't see him while we were here!!! Tim caught a black bream here too. Any opportunity for a fish!! There is supposed to be Barra here - but alas! None for us!

Alex is the cook for the crew here at Newry. She is from Germany and loving every minute of station life.

This is Brittany, the Managers elder daughter. She has taught her dog Kathy some good tricks.

They also use a helicopter to do some mustering here.

NEWRY STATION NT.

Amy has fallen in love with the horses here at Newry Station. She helps Brittany feed the horses with their individual feeding bags slipped over their heads. Amy has ridden the white pony bare back a few times over the last week.

Its very windy!!!

The Boys on the boat - loving the speed. Jake loving his new hairstyle!!!

Amy enjoying her boat ride up Lake Kununurra! Jake even caught a turtle!

Lake Kununurra boat trip! Gary Alexander - Anglican church minister - takes us out for a boat ride before we head off to the Northern Territory on Wednesday.
Its a perfect day for a boat ride and we make the most of it!
Here this mountain is called "Sleeping Buddha".
Thanks heaps Gary - had a ball.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIM!!!! 41 years young!
Not everyone was happy with the portion sizes though! Plenty of cake for everyone.

It was pouring with rain, and we were running out of things to do around Kununurra, so we visit the Hoochery. They make rum and various liquiors here. They also make beautiful rum cake, which was devoured in seconds!! Delicious - Cheers!

Keep River NP Northern Territory

Yep - we crossed the border - well just for the day! We visit Keep River National Park. Do a little bit of bush walking, but its pretty hot and our motivation is low!
Amy is hiding in an Aboriginal Hawk catcher. They would light a fire to attract the hawk, stick feathers up out of the middle like bait and pull the hawk down by its claws to catch it!
